About Mrs. weston
I am Mrs. Ambre Weston. I am delighted to be the 4th through 8th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at Stonebridge Academy.
I am a Tulsa, OK native, graduating from Booker T. Washington High School in 1996. I then completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary English Education from Southern Nazarene University in 2001. I taught 7th and 8th grade English at Foster Middle School (now East Central Junior High School) in Tulsa for 4 years. In 2005, my husband and I moved to the Kansas City metro area so he could complete a Masters of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. While living there I taught 2 years of 9th and 10th grade English at Lee's Summit High School in Lee's Summit, Missouri. I then spent a year working for Farmer's Insurance Company as an underwriter for property and auto insurance.
I have 3 children, Audrey age 8, Caroline age 6, and Jack age 3. I took a 5 year break from working to start a family while my husband, Cole became lead pastor at Okmulgee 1st Church of the Nazarene. All my children attend Stonebridge Academy.

The Outsiders
This past summer I got a chance to meet C. Thomas Howell. He appeared in The Outsiders as Ponyboy Curtis. This is one of the best highlights of my life since I teach the novel often.
